About me

Hello, my name is WIM Srishti Pandey, and I have been playing chess for over 9 years. Chess has taught me valuable lessons, and I would love to share them with you.

Playing experience

As the National U19 Champion in 2019, I have participated in various international tournaments in countries such as Spain, Hungary, Armenia, Iceland, Germany, Serbia, Portugal, Italy, and France. In 2021, I achieved a notable milestone by beating legendary Grandmaster Alex Yermolinsky with the black pieces. Additionally, I completed my WIM title in 2022.

Teaching experience

For the past 5 years, I have been coaching people of various ages, and I have developed an effective and systematic training program that helps my students improve in all phases of the game. I am available for both individual and group sessions.

Other experiences

Throughout my years of playing chess, I have had the opportunity to work with many strong GMs, such as GM Swapnil Dhopade, GM Debashis Das, GM Kristian Szabo, GM Swayams Mishra, GM Mchedlishvili, Mikheil, and GM Tornike Sanikidze. This experience has helped me develop a deep understanding of subtle nuances in the game.

Best skills

Some of my most vital skills include attacking and dynamic play, endgames, and a simple and effective opening repertoire for both colors. I believe in forming long-term friendly relations with my students and organizing online tournaments to foster growth and competition.

Teaching methodology

In terms of my teaching methodology, I tailor my lessons according to the needs of my students. I follow a structured approach that includes deep analysis of games, studying the most important classical games, studying a customized opening repertoire for both colors, and working on important skills such as visualization, candidate moves, and intermediate moves.
I also help my students prepare for tournament games.
