The time to make the first move should be lower.

I'm tired of players that wait until the last second before loosing the game at the first move, mainly in tournaments. I would like that Lichess put 10 seconds instead of 20 for the player. This will help us to save a lot and precious time.

@AdrianoNunesFX I understand, but I believe that this 20-second time helps because the user needs a few seconds to adjust something. In addition to avoiding losses of points for possible lags.
It takes some time to greet the opponent and to have a short look at his/her profile.
IMO, chess is a *slow* game. If you do not want to wait half a minute for your opponent, then maybe you should play egoshooters or race-simulations.
In Chess960 it should be much higher. 30 seconds isn't enough time as a 960 novice to assess the opening position.
it should be as is 30 secs to check profile of possible cheater.

Make your own site and set 10 secs there
