Slow interface

Recently, the interface has become slow and laggish for me. Does anyone else have this issue? Have any changes been done to the way the interface functions?

I came to Lichess from Chess.com where the interface was horribly slow. Dragging a piece there was like dragging a ton of bricks around, very slow and lagging. Lichess was smooth and fast and you could drag the pieces easily. Now Lichess is becoming bloated as well? It's not nearly as bad as Chess.com but I can notice that it is slower than before. Playing 1 minute bullet now is way harder now with pieces lagging when moving.

It rather became much faster than it used to be.

Maybe for fast computers it has become better. I have a laptop with a 2 core processor and for me it has become slower and sluggish.

That is most likely a problem on your end really. Maybe someone with a deeper tech insight can tell better.

Free memory from your computer, do a virus scan, etc. As long as you're on a Windows, your machine is guaranteed to become slower over time without maintenance. Unless you don't use it.

Yeah I posted a complaint too for my android note3. After the update that added a bunch of stuff like arrows, local cpu, the moving bar analysis. Maybe my phone is dying because it's showing sim card error, but seems fine.

If other people are not experiencing anything similar, maybe it is only on my end. I will try to look into it.

I have experienced the same, up to the point that I can't play bullet in any satisfactory way anymore. I can't even premove because it's so sluggish. If it's a problem on my end I don't know how, since other websites work just fine.
