Computer Evaluations

This is a problem I have encountered previously and I don't know what to do. The lichess 'study' evaluations say 'White is slightly better', 'White is better', 'equal' etc. However, just what do they even mean? When does the eval turn into 'clearly better'? Is +0.4 more equal or slightly better? How about +0.2? Or +0.3? Where are the boundaries?
I find it really funny that people now a days ASK the exakt opposite as I asked years ago.
Before the age of engines the evaluation of a position came from men. In best cases masters.

We humans didn't think in decimal advanteges. We analysed a position like that:
White hast a bishop pair in an open board, but black has a solid position with an active knight.
All things considered the position is slightly better for white.

That being said we all knew that whites position ist easier to play for a win but not winning and If black plays acurate it will be drawish.
As you are not negative 1.0, meaning .90 and below you are in drawish territory. Once the computer says 1.0 or higher you or your opponent is out of your favor best play will result in a loss for one player.
That is just not true.
There are fortress positions which are evaluated +3 .

I’ve never seen one.. in the opening I’m sure it’s accurate...
@swarminglocusts
There are drawish positions (in the endgame) evaluated by Stockfish
as more then 3 points of advantage for one side (instead of 0.0).
