First Impressions

I am new to lichess but not new to playing chess online. I have played on several sites down the years, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, and I have to say that on first impressions lichess compares very favourably to the best of them.
I'm sure I will discover the inevitable small issues and grumbles over the next few weeks and months but I would be grateful for any advance warnings any of you more experienced users can give me; tips on what to try and what might be best avoided.

One thing I have noticed already and been really pleased to find is the ability to import pgn files of games played elsewhere, to play through and analyse them. With a built in engine to help! I have been trying to find a reliable (and free) pgn viewer to use with the chrome browser without any luck so this is a big plus for me.

I think I'm going to like it here...

*Find yourself in statistical distribution of the player pool
*PS. enjoy almost cheater free environment with built-in detection systems
etc.
There's also opening books available at the game analysis page along with stockfish engine.

Well FM lovlas, you said it was going to get better and here we are just 5 days later with a new feature that is something I've often thought would be great. The 'learn from your mistakes' option is a real xmas gift for a player of my lowly rating.
I haven't even fully explored all the already existing features properly yet!
