lichess is much better is my opinion.
1. All of its features are free for everyone. Therefore, as long as you have a reasonable internet connection, it is open equally to anyone in the world, from the richest to the poorest. This helps spread the word about this great game and increases the number of people playing it.
2. It allows discussions like this rather than blocking comments praising other sites
3. Whilst this is not something I can prove, I also get the impression that the anti-cheat software works better on lichess

Lichess is better its free and I do a lot of puzzles so In
chess.com I can do only 8 puzzles a day
Also You can create a tournament very easily

chess.com you have to pay for everything Which I cant.

Not everybody see's every opportunity as a way to make money.
A lot of people around the world volunteer their time and effort for free, from dogs homes, to hospitals...to chess apps.
Most of those people will go unnoticed and will never ask for thanks, so I hope we all appreciate them.
I think
Lichess.org is better than
chess.com personally because everything is free and
chess.com seems very hard to use without using money
Also,
chess.com forces you to pay basically where you can choose in
lichess.org as being a patron
In my opinion I think that lichess is better as it provides studies, analysis and many more great features for free.
Chess.com still has these but you will need money to upgrade your account

I can not upload images to Imgur for a while now. When I register a new account, it asks for my phone number. Giphy just allows GIFs (and the image quality is terrible). I wonder which other sites are there?
this forum has been created before, i think people who ask this are not really interested about the answers. i mean, why ask it on lichess? most people are bound to say that lichess is better. and, making people answering your forums wastes their time. if someone really wants to know, they would try the two sites and compare them.
