There are quite a few chess960 games that have been played that ended with a mate in 2.

lol...why would anyone expose their king on the first move?
i mean in my case, it wasn't so obvious...even i didn't see it until after i moved.
(playing blitz, so very little time to think)
probably by people that don't play 960 and are coming from classic and are used to those opening moves.

In regular chess 1 c3 e5 2 f3 d5 is excellent for black. The paradigm is different. Even in regular chess many people play the opening too fast. In 960 you have to ponder the opening even more.
Just don’t play chess 960 and you won’t get into weird cases of stupid checkmate.
