What soft ware do you use to record the screen/ did you pay for it?

I use a very simple webpage called http://screencast-o-matic.com/home
It is free and I figured out how to use it almost immediately. It is not ideal (in the free version you can't make videos longer than 15 mins). I will probably find a better free screen-recorder to use in the long-term. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

OBS (Open Broadcasting Software)

I spent an hour trying to master OBS this morning (including watching a ten min tutorial) and it was still beyond me :p That was a bad hour :)

I'm sure you've played that opening many times

I play the same opening three moves (pawn to e3, knight to f3 and knight to c3) in almost every game, unless my opponent plays a move that I think I can exploit. After that I am responding to my opponent's moves and have no set opening. I know I want to push my pawn to d4 and develop my bishops to attacking squares, but the best way to do that varies in different positions.
