Scandinavian defence

i see much more then I expected of the Scandinavian defense (1. e4 d5). given that the Queen can be kicked around, what does it have going for it. I don't really get the appeal.
Sometimes the queen goes back to its original square. Even if it's kicked around it's not totally unsound for black, but not great either.

There are also a couple possible traps for both sides, although it's more likely that the black queen becomes trapped (in the case of a trap).
Literally my favorite trap of all time is in the Tennison Gambit (1. e4, d5, Nf3?!) Here is a link to a game I played with myself to show the most basic line of the trap. http://en.lichess.org/yuNZMutL#0 Sacrifice a knight and bishop for a queen and a misplaced king? Yes please!
I enjoy the Lasker trap, myself. It's easy for white to fall for, too.

I love this gambit as well. Here are some other interesting lines:

1. e4 d5
2. Nf3 dxe4
3. Ng5 Nf6
4. Nc3 Bf5
5. Qe2 Qd4
6. Qb5+ Nc6
(6...Bd7 7.Qxb7 Bc6 8.Bb5 Qd7 9.Bxc6 Qxc6 (9...Nxc6 10.Qxa8+ Nd8) 10.Qc8#)
7. Qxf5
Among the oldest openings (thanks, google!)

The Scandinavian has a notably higher win percentage for white than for black (Googled again).

Rarely seen at top level play, it can nonetheless be a fun opening for lower level players.

I don't play it as black; however, IM John Bartholomew who is consistently one of the top guys on ICC plays it a lot. While I don't play at ICC I stumbled on his YouTube channel recently. He has a good number of vids on his YouTube channel showing how he plays it. He is super tactical so he gets away in positions I'd be lost in. To find just his Scandinavian games do a search on YouTube "John Bartholomew Scandinavian".

I tried to play the scandinavian did not have bad results lastly but It does not make sense to me at least taking with the pawn with the queen, You get the feeling that its white the one who is in control of the board and that black's control with queen is apparent and Its always reacting cause You always have to watch out for the minor pieces and so on maybe there is a standart line that its good for black but the themes that appear in those positions favour white imo.
There are many reasons to play it though, first is fun, second is open, third is tactical, its good for tactical awareness to get a feeling of the open board for beginners maybe for a strong players it might be good for a draw as the board is opened there might be more exchanges earlier but I dont know about that I can only talk about my current understanding which is beginners level, one thing that I noticed about the scandinavian is that you can castle queenside.
In short I think the scandinavian is unsound for grandmasters but its good for the mobility of the pieces, for beginners to learn how to react to threats and so on,
you can get some sort of slav position and some tactics going on in general, so I recommend it, in fact I am going to play it now, thank you.
I think you should play it as well, at least just a few games, some blitz so that you can understand better why you dont like it, maybe its not the scandinavian per se, maybe its your tactical ability, or by playing the scandinavian you may find that you prefer closed structures and slow maneuver, go for it, its always good to try things.
I like this game, Its unsound but its fun, lots of tactics going,
sharp position this is good stuff for beginners.

I hope you get an idea of the scandinavian feel, the computer says it is wrong but it does not matter, its just an attack, and its messy enough to win against weak players.
You can lose as well but It does not matter, u get a fun game going.
