Please have option to disable move by click

I have lost countless games because of this functionality of moving by click (clicking a piece, then clicking the destination square).

If I play a fast time control, sometimes I select a piece to move it but then change my mind and let it go. The problem is that the piece remains selected and then when I try to make another move, a wrong move with the selected piece is made.

An option to disable the move by click would be great, so that after I let go of the piece it no longer remains selected. Only move by drag.

Just click the new piece you want to move must solve the problem.
