too early draw given

hi, i just had a game end in a draw with a single pawn ending, i think that it was given not before 3 repitions of the same postion had occurred, and due to our low ish lvl and also in my last 10 games virtually no one knows how to mate with K+Q, a single pawn ending is even more unlikely to be studied, so can we please at least make the 3 repition rule apply to all U2500
thank you
nevish

btw im loving this site, absolutely fantyastically wonderful!!!!!!!

What do you mean? The rules are the same for everyone.
The 3fold repetition of position rule does apply: either player may optionally claim a draw.
I assume this you're talking about this game

It's a theoretical draw. And frankly, anyone at level 1300 and above should draw this as white vs stockfish with their eyes closed.
@nevish. You got to that exact same position 3 times. Moves 43, 45, 48.

@OnlyStupidNamesLeft, I sort of agree, but I see weak players blow this all the time. Honestly, the fact that the computer tells us that we've gotten to the same position 3 times is a luxury. Folks should have to click a draw claim button instead, make it more realistic.
