I let the machines play it out stockfish 8 vs stockfish 8... it says your position is lost, and your position does lose on move 67 (it started reading as very lost around move 50, but no mate until 67 b/c the machine was crafty with delaying the inevitable)... However you were on move 14... Anyways... it's your call to resign from such a position or not, but when it comes to resignations... You are usually better to play it out a little longer than to ask "Should I have resigned?"... Your position looks potentially lost, and it was... but make your opponent prove you can't make a fortress.
