> Another quote about a tie after 2 games in the KO stage:
> If, after both games, players are equal in points (e.g., both on 1.0 / 2.0), they will play two further games in the 5+3 time control, once with the white pieces and once with the black pieces. The player with the higher seeding from the second stage of Swiss can determine which colour she or he will play first. If they still remain equal in score, they will play an Armageddon decider.
> I am not certain about what happens if the first 5+3 set is tied. The match score is tied at 2.0-2.0, so according to the "(e.g., both on 1.0/2.0)" part there will be another 5+3 set. However, nowhere else is this hinted at, and anything following e.g. is supposed to be an example. So I am not sure what happens in this case.

1.0/2.0 means that both have 1 point out of the 2 rapid games that they played. After that, they play the Blitz tiebreak (2 games again) and if it's tied, they play the Armageddon.
Welp, this means I delete the app entirely. I hope anyone with a sense of morality does likewise,
unless your good enough that you can do well enough to defame the entire authoritarian government at the top tables.

Has anyone checked the forum rules to see if 'supporting the removal of human rights' counts as a bannable offense? might be relevant
Kazakhstan is holding a ton of chess tournaments ! From World Championship to this tournament. I greatly appreciate the Kazakhstan chess federation.
This is great, but having negative chance of winning, I prefer to skip it to raise the level of the qualifiers.
