Why does the lichess engine consider the King's Indian an inaccuracy?

@drmrboss
Believing and knowing as not the same thing. In theoretical sciences it usually requires a proof to call something theory, regardless of much people believe in it.

When you claim that chess is a theoretical draw, it gives the impression that it should be proven. Better say it appears that it's a draw or that many believe it's a draw.
@tpr
I don't debate whether chess is a draw. I'm only against an incorrect use of the word theory in a scientific situation.
@Youcandothis , in that case, you dont need to believe 99% of scientific theories.

No one can bring you a thermometer and measure temperature of surface of Sun.
No one can bring measuring tape and measure the diameter of earth.

You have your own right to belive whatever you believe.
You can believe the earth is a disc, it is up to you.
The Gruenfeld is still alive at top level. Nowadays at top level KID is not that popular anymore. This proves there is some sort of idea going around the top players that the KID is “refuted”.
I think it’s all about the Sämisch variation, which I play myself and played by Carlsen, Ding, and so much of the top people. If you talk about old times, Tal played the Sämisch and Karpov did as well. But it’s not really a refutation, just the Sämisch makes it really hard for Black.
@drmrboss
There is a difference between theoretical and empirical sciences. In empirical sciences it's enough that a lot of people have a strong reason to believe something to call it theory. In theoretical sciences, beliefs are typically call conjectures, even if there is good reason to believe they are true, but no proof.
Well because lichess knows that KID is bad! No other way to put it! :)
It does the same thing when I play the Scotch Four Knights. 3.Nc3?! innacuracy lol. The truth hurts I guess.
#35 In mathematics they even have Gödel's incompleteness theorem, stating improvability odf some statements.
In court, when someone's life is at stake, evidence and proof of far les rigor get accepted.
King' Indian Defence is still alive and kicking. Even Carlsen has played it recently.
I dont know why, but engines dislike KID. There are some openings they just dont like.
