Berserk -Mode on all games

1. Nothing about berserking makes the games any more rewardable. No extra rating points should be rewarded on victory or compensated for losing for this reason.

2. There are no benefit factors to berserking non-tournament games. In a tournament, berserking can be used to catch up with leaders by striking for quick points or something like that, while such demands do not apply in discrete lobby games.
100% agreement with #11. Berserk-mode is specifically a tournament feature because it allows someone to catch up on the tournament points or break out ahead on their tournament points by gambling that they are already going to win against their opponent faster and thereby wagering half their clock. You get 2 victory points instead of 1, which can mean the difference between winning or placing.

As for standard rated games, no. Just no. Adding such a feature would completely undermine the ratings system and turn this website into some sort of video gamer version of chess. If you want that sort of thing, play at Chesscube, they've got a wonderfully ridiculous XP and coin system to make you feel like you're playing a video game.

But if lichess starts going that route, I (and likely all serious players) would leave.
