I think if u are beginner like me there is no reason not to play the scandinavian, I played one yesterday and It happened something similar my opponent got out of theory in move one,
in fact I think its a very good opening for new players to practice tactics
this is a double queen exchange

more boring game no, but as u can see it got out of theory in move one, its the advantage of the scandinavian
I mean this is good stuff if one is not a good player until 2200 or so, playable no?
so unless one is very strong no reason to abandon it.
