Thibault is not in charge of lichess (the organization). He is in charge of developing lichess.org, the website, which is owned by lichess, the organization.

These things are done by lichess, the organisation. Thibault is not the owner of lichess the organisation (nor even the current president). Lichess is a French charity.

That is indeed what Thibault does. If he should die (which we hope will not happen for a long, long time), lichess the organisation would probably look for a new main developer.

Thibault is not the owner rather ruler of Lichessland! He will hire a new heir who will rule Lichessland after his death!

So then who is in charge of Lichess, the organisation?
Who gets to decide what Lichess, the organisation, spends its money on?
Could Lichess, the organisation decide (purely hypothetically) to fire Thibault and hire a new developer?

Thibult had to sign this with a lawyer for his will, the power might go to his family or maybe the 2nd person in charge of this company.

But, hopefully I will be in charge :-D
